Just joining in with Ginny's yarn along.
This week I have been knitting more of my socks - this is my portable project and I'm very glad to see that I have made progress since the last time I photographed these. I am now on the second sock! I find knitting in the round with dpns very soothing - and I really don't know why.
And I am currently reading Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar - which I am enjoying - and have nearly finished.
I doubt I will have get much further on with my socks for next week's yarn along ... but we'll see!
xXx
Your socks are looking great. I'm always impressed with people who can knit on the round, something not square or rectangular which is the only knitting I can do. Helen at 3 Blossom Trees knit socks too if you'd like to have a look...Have a lovely Thursday! x
ReplyDeleteMarion I'm sure you would be fine at knitting in the round, it isn't that difficult. I'll have a look at that blog - thanks
DeleteAbsolutely love the color way! The Yarn Along (at least for me) is a great motivator to hustle and bustle just a bit on some of my projects so that I can actually show different pictures each week.
ReplyDeleteYes I love all the sock yarns - I have to be very strict with myself and not buy more wool until I have finished a pair. Ha!
DeleteWonderful socks and a wonderful book. Enjoy,
ReplyDeleteMeredith
Have you read the book too? It's very good.
DeleteWhat a lovely sock, the yarn is wonderful, I love how the little subtle stripey bits come into it.
ReplyDeleteI think this is one of my most favourite sock yarns that I've used so far. I must try to push on and get them finished!
DeleteBeautiful Socks! I especially love the blue yarn:)
ReplyDeleteThank you Melissa - I do love this yarn!
